What Travelers Are Saying
FAQ
How does it work?
Turn it on and slowly sweep the room. It picks up the wireless signals that hidden cameras, bugs, and GPS trackers send out. The closer you get, the faster it beeps. For cameras that are not sending a signal, look through the red light lens finder. Camera lenses reflect the light and show up as a bright dot.
Can it find cameras that are turned off?
The lens finder can spot many camera lenses even when they are not sending a signal, as long as the lens is facing out. A camera that is fully covered and powered off is harder to find with any detector.
Where should I check first?
Smoke detectors, alarm clocks, phone chargers, outlets, TVs, air vents, and mirrors. Anything pointed at the bed or shower. In your car, check under the bumpers, wheel wells, and seats.
Do I need an app?
No. No app, no account, no setup. Charge it, turn it on, and start scanning.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 30 hours of use on one charge. That is enough for a full trip.
